Organica
Art imitates life and vice-versa; in this pictorial trail, I wanted to explore the concept of archetypal intrinsic design or perceived thereof, in layman's terms, "Art from Nature". Wildflowers, Plants and fungi light up our landscapes with colour and character. Extracting these qualities was my inspiration for creativity in producing these series of abstract organic fractals shown in the collection below. In art school, I recall when drawing from nature, instruction was to loosen up our control and let the natural flowing movement of our hands be the basis for the design's structure. I applied this same principle when approaching these free-forming visualisations; even though the medium is very different, the fundamental blueprint for construction remains the same. Hopefully, you can take a little inspiration from my journey into these digitally created simulations of naturally living biomechanical organisms.
